Early Life
Babar Azam was born on October 15, 1994 in Lahore, Pakistan. From a young age, Azam had a strong interest in cricket—a passion nurtured in him by his family as several of his cousins also played the sport at different professional levels.
Youth career and domestic cricket
Azam began playing cricket competitively at a very young age. His first major achievement came when he captained the Under-19 team for Pakistan during the 2012 World Cup, making an impressive statement with multiple centuries and earning the title “Man of The Series”. International Career
Azam made his international debut for Pakistan in an ODI (One Day International) against Zimbabwe in May 2015.
